1-800-How's-My-Driving?

First off, I didn't take this photo.  I stole it from the magical internet, but it pretty aptly describes the scene here.  I've already made a few mentions of the crazy driving, but while heading to Cocorna (more on this later), things started making a little more sense, and I think it's something that drivers in Canada should think about.

Smaller cars? Maybe.  Passing on an uphill around the corner across a double solid line?  Probably not.  What I'm referring to is some patience and understanding.  Here, the lines on the road mean nothing, so basically, if a driver sees some room to pass, they will just go for it.  But it doesn't always work out (see uphill, around a corner), so now the driver is on the wrong side of the road with nowhere to go.  Well, the vehicle that he's passing sees this as well, so he slows down to allow the passer some room to get back on the right side of the road.  There is not that feeling of competition where, if someone passes another, the one being passed feels slighted and refuses to let that person back in.  It's kind of nice.  As well, since there are a lot of single lane roads, drivers will see that someone wants to the pass them and will shift to the right as much as possible, sometimes going as far as turning on their indicator, too!

Maybe it's not so much the crazy driving, and more so this tourist's perception of crazy?
